The deck is the heart of every stunt scooter – it determines your riding style, maneuverability, and durability. We offer decks for beginners, advanced, and pro riders, in different lengths, widths, and designs.
Decks are most commonly made from 6061-T6 aluminum, which is lightweight and weldable. More expensive models may also use 7075 alloy, which is even stronger. Some decks combine both materials – for instance, a neck made from 7075 and the footbed from 6061. The simpler the construction (monoblock), the higher the strength and lower the risk of breaking.
Most modern decks come with an integrated headset, where the headset bearings fit directly into the machined cups. Installation is easy, sturdy, and ensures longer lifespan. Non-integrated headsets are mainly found in cheaper beginner models.
Park riding – shorter and lighter decks, easier to maneuver during tricks.
Street riding – longer and wider decks with a flat bottom and box-ends, ideal for grinding.
Universal – decks that fall between these values, suitable for both environments.
When choosing, the height of the rider also plays a role – taller individuals will appreciate larger decks with more foot space.
Standard wheels fit 100–110 mm, some decks can even handle 120–125 mm. With wider wheels (28–30 mm, 12STD), it's always necessary to check the compatibility in the product specifications.
Concave – a slight curve in the footbed, which helps keep feet secure on the deck.
Deck angle (82–84°) – affects handlebar position and overall riding feel.
Grind on smooth and waxed obstacles.
Land tricks cleanly and absorb impacts by bending your knees.
Keep all bolts tightened, do not use your scooter in rain or wet conditions.
Wax the bottom of the deck and the obstacles – just like you wax skis.
Remember, freestyle decks are durable, but not indestructible. Your riding style, surfaces, and trick level greatly affect their lifespan – similar to tires on a car during drifting.
