The quality of the bearings is assessed and examined by the bearings normalization committee in the USA Annular Bearing Engineering Committee, abbreviated as ABEC. The ABEC standard only indicates the manufacturing precision of the bearings, not the material and smoothness of the balls in the bearing, so we may find that bearings with a lower ABEC rating perform better. Generally, with reputable manufacturers, the higher the ABEC rating, the better the bearings will perform.
