The Aerobie Skylighter flying disc with a diameter of 25 cm flies straight and accurately thanks to its improved rim construction (spoiler rim). This design feature maintains lift at the center of the disc throughout the flight, which greatly aids flight stability.
Because the rim of the disc is made of durable rubber, it is easier to catch even at higher speeds and lightly bounces off obstacles without being damaged. Even after many landings on hard surfaces, the rim of the Aerobie Skylighter remains smooth and pleasant to the touch. A typical flying disc often shows scratches and sometimes even sharp gouges on the rim after just a few impacts on pavement.
The light module is attached to the center of the underside of the disc so it won’t be damaged on impact.
