A peg is usually mounted on one side, onto the wheel axle. Some pegs allow mounting on both sides; if they do, you will find this in the specification below. To install a peg it is necessary to replace the wheel axle with a longer one; you determine the new axle length by measuring the length of the existing axle and adding the extension value according to the specification given below. Some peg sets already include axles and adjustment washers (spacers to offset the peg), which can be used, but their length may not match your scooter and the axle may need to be purchased separately. Also pay attention to the shape of the deck/fork and the shape of the peg seat; some pegs have a wider taper at the start of the seat and may not fit into some forks/decks, in which case you must use spacers to offset or a different peg shape. If you are unsure, contact our support or service.
