Kendama is a traditional Japanese toy that has been spreading across most of the world in recent years. People of all generations can play with Kendama. A Kendama consists of a body (ken) and a ball (tama), connected by a strong nylon string. The body is made up of three wooden cups (zara) mounted on a wooden spike (saki). In the game, you try to catch the ball in one of the cups, on the spike, or variously sit it together in all the possible ways, of which there are over 30,000. Kendama is a very fun toy that you can learn to play with very quickly, and it enhances motor skills, coordination, reflexes, balance, concentration, and not only that, this toy stands out above many of today's board and electronic games, Kendama doesn’t need batteries! Kendama is becoming a sport and competitive discipline not only in Japan but also in the Czech Republic.
