Kendama is a traditional Japanese toy that has spread to most parts of the world in recent years. People of all generations can play with Kendama. The Kendama consists of a body (ken) and a ball (tama), connected by a sturdy nylon string. The body is made up of three wooden cups (zara) placed on a wooden spike (saki). In the game, you try to catch the ball in one of the cups, on the spike, or to balance it in various ways, with over 30,000 possible techniques.
