Description

Kendama is a traditional Japanese toy that has been spreading to most of the world in recent years. Everyone from all generations can play with Kendama. It consists of a body (ken) and a ball (tama), connected by a sturdy nylon cord. The body features three wooden cups (zara) placed on a wooden spike (saki). During the game, you try to catch the ball in one of the cups, on the spike, or to balance it in various ways, with over 30,000 possible methods. Kendama is a very fun toy that you can learn to play with quickly, and it enhances motor skills, coordination, reflexes, balance, concentration, and more. This toy stands out above many of today’s board and electronic games; Kendama does not need batteries! Kendama is becoming a sport and a competitive discipline not only in Japan but also in the Czech Republic.
