Description

Kendama is a traditional Japanese toy that has spread to most of the world in recent years. People of all generations can play with the Kendama. The Kendama consists of a body (ken) and a ball (tama), connected by a sturdy nylon string. The body consists of three wooden cups (zara) placed on a wooden spike (saki). In the game, you try to catch the ball in one of the cups, on the spike, or position them together in various ways, of which there are over 30,000. Kendama is a very fun toy that you can learn to play with quickly and helps strengthen motor skills, coordination, reflexes, balance, concentration, and more; this toy stands out above many of today's board and electronic games, as the Kendama does not require batteries! The Kendama is becoming a sport and a competitive discipline not only in Japan but also already in the Czech Republic.
